Polymer Nation F-52 D Urethane Concrete Dressing
Product Overview
Polymer Nation F-52 D Urethane Concrete Dressing is a revolutionary formulation that gives you longer working time with a snap-cure. It combines Polymer Nation’s water-based urethane resin and aromatic hardener with a proprietary blend of Portland cement, lime, and fillers (PN 1352 D). It’s formulated to work with Polymer Nation’s TD and SL systems.
Together, they deliver what the manufacturer calls the highest degree of impact and thermal shock resistance of any urethane concrete on the market. Its low odor and easy application make it a great pick for industrial floors and durable decorative work. We keep it on our shelves in St. Louis, so you can grab what you need and get back to the job.
Think of F-52 D as the concrete dressing that finishes off your urethane cement system. Its mixed viscosity sits around 300 cP (Parts A and B), so it flows out smooth and easy. VOCs come in under 50 g/l, which helps keep odor low on the job. Solids by volume run above 97%, so nearly everything you apply stays on the surface.
Uses and Benefits
Most contractors reach for F-52 D as a urethane concrete dressing topcoat over Polymer Nation’s TD and SL systems. It also works as a coating on vertical concrete and CMU. On top of that, it serves as a concrete primer for all of Polymer Nation’s flooring coatings. Thanks to its low viscosity and tenacious bond to concrete, it makes an excellent prime and build coat for many decorative and industrial projects.
It’s also a smart primer for floors with high moisture transmission. You can even apply it to green concrete, which gives you more options on fresh slabs. One product covers a lot of ground, which makes ordering much simpler for your crew.
If you’ve been hunting for a moisture-curing urethane concrete primer for tough slabs, F-52 D gives you a water-based option worth a look. Independent testing under ASTM D3010 rates it as breathable.
You can re-coat within 24 hours, and each kit covers about 160 sq. ft. at 25 mils. Choose from Natural, Tile Red, Light Gray, Medium Gray, Dark Gray, and Black. We carry it as a low-viscosity urethane concrete product for contractors in St. Louis and throughout the Midwest. Give us a call, and we’ll help you figure out the right kit count for your next floor.
