Polymer Nation F-52 AD Aliphatic Urethane Concrete Dressing

Product Overview

The Polymer Nation F-52 AD Aliphatic Urethane Dressing is a three-component urethane concrete made for demanding commercial floors. It combines a water-based urethane resin and an aliphatic hardener with Polymer Nation’s proprietary blend of Portland cement, lime, and fillers (PN 1352 D). The formula gives your crew longer working time, and then it snaps to a cure. It’s low odor and easy to apply, so it fits industrial and durable decorative jobs.

Polymer Nation built this aliphatic urethane concrete dressing to work with its TD and SL systems. Used together, they deliver strong impact, UV, and thermal shock resistance. Solids come in at above 99%, and VOCs sit at 0 g/l. As an aliphatic polyurethane concrete distributor in St. Louis, we supply it to contractors across the region.

Uses and Benefits

Most crews use it as a topcoat over Polymer Nation’s TD and SL systems. Its low viscosity and tenacious bond to concrete also make it a solid prime or build coat. You can apply it to green concrete. It also works as a primer when floors show high moisture transmission levels.

If you’re shopping for a UV-stable urethane concrete topcoat, check the weathering data first. The TDS lists slight yellowing in accelerated weathering tests (ASTM G154), so plan for that where color stability is critical.

On the plus side, it’s self-extinguishing when adhered to concrete and posts friction ratings of 0.75 dry and 0.7 wet. Each kit covers 160 sq. ft. at 25 mils, and you’ll want to recoat within 24 hours.
