Polymer Nation F-52 TD Urethane Concrete Trowel
Product Overview
F-52 TD is a revolutionary urethane concrete trowel overlay that gives your crew longer working time, then finishes with a snap-cure. Polymer Nation combines its water-based urethane resin and aromatic hardener with a proprietary blend of Portland cement, lime, and fillers (PN 1352 T). The result is a tough mortar made for demanding industrial floors that see heavy traffic, impact, and temperature swings.
Polymer Nation formulated it to provide the highest degree of impact and thermal shock resistance of any urethane concrete on the market. It’s low-odor, and it’s easy to apply. That makes it a strong fit for industrial applications where your crew needs to keep production moving. As a Polymer Nation flooring distributor in St. Louis, we keep this system on hand for contractors across the Midwest.
The test data backs it up. F-52 TD reaches 8,000 psi in compressive strength. Impact resistance tests exceed 160 inch-pounds. It’s also rated self-extinguishing when adhered to concrete.
Uses and Benefits
F-52 TD is most often used as a self-priming concrete flooring overlay. You can place it at 1/4″ to 3/8″ thick in one pass, and you can trowel or rake it into place. Because it’s a mortar, it’s the ideal material for sloping floors and for creating ramps and transitions on industrial jobs. It can also be applied to green concrete, which helps you stay on schedule when the slab is fresh.
That’s why we point contractors to this trowel grade system when a floor needs to hold a pitch. It’s a heavy-duty urethane mortar overlay that lets you build slopes, ramps, and clean transitions in a single application. If you’re sourcing urethane concrete trowel grade for your next industrial project, our St. Louis team can help you order the kits you need and plan your coverage.
Each mix covers about 50 sq. ft. at 1/4″ theoretical coverage. Plan for a 5% waste factor on every install. It’s walkable in 6 to 10 hours, with full cure in 7 days. Colors include Natural, Tile Red, Light Gray, Medium Gray, Dark Gray, and Black.
